What You’ll Achieve
- As a Field Service Engineer, you will apply technical expertise, peer collaborating, diagnosis tools and analytical practices to resolve customer issues, taking care of our customer IT operations by delivering outstanding on-site support.
You will :
Plan and lead installation services for assigned accounts
Drive timely onsite services such as break-fix support and proactive maintenance
Keep abreast of technology and our service offerings as well as seek resolution to drive closure of complex issues
Solve escalated problems for customers with high expectations
Build and maintain relationships with other groups that impact the technical aspect for phone support (such as tool content teams and the product group)
Essential Requirements
Fluent communication skills in English
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent with more than 1 year of related experience
Knowledge of job-associated database, software and documentation
Problem solving skills with a strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Industry certification in Linux, Windows, VMware or Networking
Desirable Requirements
Relevant Dell EMC product certification at Professional Specialist Level
Dell EMC Proven Professional Associate Level Certification for information storage management (ISM).
