DSH based in Agadir, Morocco is looking for a Communication Manager. This post is for a young professional with a communication, social media background and a keen interest in the field of development.

The Communication Manager coordinates and manages all aspects of social media and internal and external communications (vision, strategy, flow-charts and execution) for DSH including website, branding, newsletters, blogs, email campaigns, promotional material, relevant reporting and other needed com tasks. Working closely with project managers, DSH management and overseen by board members, the Communication Manager engages with a variety of stake-holders to demonstrate DSH programs and initiatives’ impacts, s/he also seeks opportunities for funding and has the power of proposition for initiatives. A critical part of the overall DSH’s mission, this role is key to demonstrating the overall reach of the work carried in the field while driving innovation for continuous program improvement.

Requirements:

Education: A University or Institute Degree in Communication
Experience and/or proof of internships or volunteering
Languages: Mastery of English, fluency in written French and Arabic, knowledge of Tamazight is mandatory.
The candidate should have knowledge of photography, video editing, be creative, with positive attitudes and be flexible. Interest in and curiosity about hard science is a plus.
