The activities of the MSDA laboratory are organized around themes emanating from the specific needs of Moroccan economic and social actors. They also aim at training future researchers in applied mathematics, more particularly in modeling and simulation, and data analysis. As part of the development of its teams, MSDA is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a Data scientist engineer to work in collaboration with the research team members on the project: machine learning for breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Mission:

The research in eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) is a constantly on the rise interest that is fueled by the need to break the accuracy-interpretability trade-off. Therefore, powerful black-box models such as the deep learning models are nowadays obliged to be explained especially when used in the medical field such as Breast cancer.

 The main objectives of the position are:

• Preprocess data (medical images)
• Propose Robust and reliable Data Pipelines, Predictive Models and empirical designs
• Propose explainable deep learning models
• Good programming skills in python and advanced data analysis skills
• Report results and writing scientific articles
• Interact with Ph.D. students to help understand and Design Innovative solutions
