Under guidance of the Planning supervisor, this position is responsible for professional inspections of terminal equipment. Controls and inspects all equipment according to planning, measures and analyses all conditional parameters (vibration, temperature…) follows the abnormalities and prepares analysis for recurrent and critical ones. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform condition-based maintenance inspections (vibration, temperature, Ultrasound, NDT,…) according to systematic planning and checklists of all equipment
• Analyze results of diagnostic and propose action plan
• Support in the preventive inspections (general visual inspections, wire ropes inspections, TWL inspections…) for terminal equipment according to OEM’s instructions, benchmark, history of equipment break down and systematic general inspections
• Check proper functioning (and safety) of equipment at regular intervals
• Report and prioritize anomalies according to their criticality
• Report the abnormalities in the terminal’s CMMS and dedicated reporting sheets
• Support in checking and validating the quality of the outsourced work
• Prepare weekly report of abnormalities detected and follow the action plan
• Evaluate the impact of non-repaired abnormalities or defects on equipment reliability and develop action plan
• Define new needs of inspection tools and follow their reliability and calibration
• Contribute in root cause analysis
• Participate in weekly and daily Maintenance planning
• Ensure that emergency abnormalities are reported to the concerned stakeholders from M&R.
• Assume additional responsibility for maintenance in the absence of maintenance supervisors, inspectors and planners.
• Carry out those duties assigned by the Equipment and planning supervisor.
• Maintain good relationships with stakeholders
• Support M&R staffing
• Contribute to continuous improvement
