Poste :

Reporting to the Execution manager, the holder of this position is responsible for:

• Ensuring that all IOC operations are executed in accordance with received instructions from the Execution Managers. Takes ownership of issues that arrive during the shift and find appropriate solutions.
• Managing the whole IOC team with high productivity, quality and labour relations and ensure that each position in the IOC act as per the established procedures.
• To ensure errors/issues logging and follow up on resolution with involved parties (M&R, IT, Automation, suppliers…)
• Escalation points for system issues and support on the spot root cause analysis.
• Prioritize exceptions/issues and follow up efficient resolution within the shift, same has to be recorded, measured, and analysed. Ensure that outcome and actions have been communicated and followed up.
• Be involved in all IOC process monitoring and consistently participate in process improvement.
• To be deployed when needed to other supervisor roles (vessel, RCC/yard/gate) which is control of berth, vessel, yard and Gate.
• Make sure that plans and strategy have been effectively communicated to every member of the team.
• Training and Coaching of the team.

QUALIFICATION

• Requires a Master in operational research (or any related field) or Engineering degree
• Well versed with Lean & Six Sigma
• 2-3 years of previous leadership experience involving on the field work with large amount of workers/labor.
• Requires the ability to work well under pressure for long hours.
• Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills.
• Must be computer literate and continuous improvement driven.
• Previous experience in the port environment is an advantage.
• Holding a valid driving license.
• Requires good verbal and written communications skills in English and French as well as fluency in the local language.
• Requires good interpersonal skills to interact across section of the company’s departments
