- Project planning, setup, training, execution, follow-up and tracking of electrical installation activities on all projects within the EMEA GEO; assisting Customer Project Managers
- Sorts and prioritizes Master Cable List to create the electrical installation plan for pulling and terminating all cables to meet the project critical path sequence of commissioning
- Trains on site field service engineer staff and electrical contractor on the electrical installation process; conducts kick-off meetings & guides start of the installation on site
- Responsible for identifying priority systemic defects on Proton Therapy system that impacts the time and cost of installations within Site Solutions
- Spearheads the management of defect resolution as primary stakeholder on EMEA project sites, leading the Defect Review Boards
- Coordinates with Operations, Test Cell Engineering, Engineering, Advanced Support Team and local Site Teams to resolve defects
- Conducts periodic on-site checks utilizing quality checklists to provide installation quality feedback to Site Management for immediate correction prior to handover for Service and patient treatment
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent transferrable experience
- Expert knowledge of and professional experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, testing equipment used for verification, checkout and calibration of electronic equipment
- Experienced Engineer with vast knowledge of various subsystems of electrical systems
- Expert knowledge of and professional technical experience with PC based systems
- Customer focused attitude
- Big Picture mentality and appreciation of complex, high tech systems
- Must be Fluent in English
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or equivalent.
