We're currently looking for a Technical Veg Sales Representative to join our Sales Veg Morocco team.

These will be permanent contract; the positions will be based in Kenitra.

Purpose

  • Accelerate product introduction, promotion and demand creation for both new and existing VEG Seeds varieties in order to boost the sales.

  • Organize demo trials for customers & promote the varieties during the customer visits

  • Provide feedback from Demo trials to the Sales Manager.

  •  Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales teams by providing them with sufficient technical information on the product behavior and performance to help them in the product positioning and sales.

  • Be the technical reference for the assigned VEG crops and Area.

  • Support the transition/handover between technical, marketing and trialing

  • Execute campaign plans in accordance with agreed campaign priorities

  • Ensure delivery of Syngenta brand revenue targets

  • Achieve participation in the crop units i.e. market data and trials planning

  • Sales revenue brand plan

  • Develops and implements annual sales plans including detailed actions with customers and channels

  • Expands the grower data base in their assigned sales / crop area

  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of the changing market trends and grower needs

  • Places pre-commercial trials with key growers following Product Development Specialist plan and report back trial results and variety performance

  • Launches new varieties with key growers and leverages results via demand generating activities with growers and channel partners

  • Organizes demand generation activities aligned with and following on the plan of the Marketing Operation Lead

  • Initiates and maintains contact with present customers (growers and dealers) and manages different accounts

  • Actively drives sales and collects orders, secures follow-up on orders and secures payments

  • Proposes annually the forecast for the commercial varieties and informs of potential forecast changes to the Commercial Unit Manager or Area

Accountabilities

  • Sales Achievement/Revenue (Campaign Product Revenue)

  • New Product Introductions (hybrids)

  • Growth of Syngenta Brand both on Distributor and Young Plant Raisers level

  • Actual assortment promotion:

    • Set up field demo’s/trials aligned with sales and marketing strategy

    • Technical positioning is clear at distributor level through trainings, promotional material and face  to face meetings

Business Impact :

  • Achievement of Sales target for assigned area

  • Farmer knowledge and use of Syngenta Vegetable seeds varieties

Geographic Scope :

  • North of Morocco

Experience required for the job :

  • 2 years at least in the same position

Minimum education and critical knowledge required for the job :

  • Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Crop related fields

  • Other behaviours critical for the role:
