As a member of the new EMEA CMS Communication Surveillance team in Casablanca, your responsibilities will be:

•    Ensure surveillance of oral and written communications among key stakeholders on major European capital markets where Société Générale operates using the firm’s monitoring tools.
•    Ensure timely and high-quality processing of potential market and non-market abuse alerts;
•    Ensure follow-up of key identified issues and assist in remedial and resolution thereof;
•    Liaise with other EMEA CMS surveillance team members, advisory Compliance officers and other key stakeholders and build synergies regarding key topics;
•    Maintain up to date CMS policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes (EU / FCA);
•    Proactively and timely escalate issues to management;

Technical experience:
We welcome applications from experienced candidates as well as fresh graduates in finance, audit, capital markets, controls with:

•    Fluency in French and English
•    A keen interest and good understanding of financial markets
•    Highly analytical approach regarding performed surveillance
•    Accurate record keeping and ability to manage and prioritize multiple review requirements.
•    Absolute discretion regarding highly sensitive information
•    Good analytical, writing, verbal, and presentation skills

Other skills:
A keenness to work in a regulatory risk management department;
Basic skills in office software (mastering of VBA would be a plus);
Generalist understanding of how private and public sides of the Financial Industry operate would be a plus;
Someone with an innovative mindset – who can think ‘outside of the box’ but collectively, understands standard BAU;
A quick learner – keen to understand regulation, markets and internal/external technology solutions;
A team player.
